Phillies Pull Out Big Win in the 9th Against Rockies

Pat Burrell continues his great start with a big bases clearing double in the 9th inning to give the Phillies a 8-6 victory.

Pitcher Brett Myers hung in there but after letting up a 2 run homer it looked liked the Rockies where going to pull the game out.
Hopefully the Phillies bats are coming alive as a team. Burrell and Utley have been carrying the Phils up to now.

The win puts the Phils over 500 and are certainly off to a much better start then last year.
Their pitching has been better then many people expected and if it continues I think they will have a better team than last year.

Keep it up Phils!

  1. A very great comeback by the Phils at the end. That hit by Burrell kept my hitting streak alive over at MLB.com.

    GO Phils!
