Phillies pull out late 6-5 victory to take series

Cole Hamels twice gave up 2 run leads but a two out error in the bottom of the 9th gave the Phillies a big win before they go on a hard road trip.Rich Aurilia hit a two-out, two-run homer off Cole Hamels, tying the game at 4. Hamels tossed six innings and allowed seven hits and four earned runs. He didn’t pitch his best game giving up the lead twice but kept the Phillies in the game. Carlos Ruiz hit a solo homer, his first of the year in the eighth to tie the game at 5.

The Phillies now have to go on a hard road trip starting with the team with Arizona, the best record and great starting pitching.
