Phillies, Moyer drop game two 8-2 to the Giants

Moyer lasted only 4 innings and allowed 6 runs in a 8-2 defeat to the Giants.Moyer was badly out pitched by young Lincecum (5-1) struck out eight in eight impressive innings and Vizquel had three hits and scored a run in a successful return from the disabled list.

The Phillies had no answers to the hard throwing pitcher. Rollins who had a big day in the first game of the series was 0-4. The only good news in the game was Howard hit a homer to left field and didn’t strike out one time. The key to Howard’s hitting is his ability to go the opposite way, so maybe this will be the first step back for him, we can only hope.
