Phillies win game one against the Braves 5-4

The Phillies hung in there to take the opening game of the series 5-4 against the Atlanta Braves.Jason Werth had 4 RBI’s, the final in the seventh inning proved to be the game winner. Werth helped launch a 13-hit attack, as the Phillies began their six-game homestand on a good note.

He started in center field and almost made a critical misplay in the ninth inning. He miss played a line drive which let the Braves come within one run but closer Lidge was able to get the save and remain perfect for the season.
