Flyers miracle season comes to an end against Penguins 6-0

Remember the Flyers were the worse team in hockey last season. They came within 3 games of going to the Stanley Cup and the future is so bright.What I have been saying all along as well as many others, to win the Flyers needed solid goal tending and had to stay out of the penalty box. The first goal came on a power play after a bad penalty and the second goal came on a terrible play by goalie Biron. So after that the Flyers just never got anything going and were dominated in all phases of the game to finish the series with a 6-0 defeat.

The Flyers are such a young team, they are only going to get better with time and I can’t wait till next year already. They can’t sign everyone of their young guys but they must do their best to sign as many as possible even if it means letting some good veterans go. They also have a couple of very good prospects who will play for them next year so the NHL better look out, the Flyers dynasty is about to begin.

I feel they need to get a goalie who is going to be solid for them, Biron is just to inconsistent, letting up way to many weak goals and he is just to slow for me. Hopefully they can make a trade with a combination of good veterans and maybe a young player. They will have to give up something to get that franchise goalie, which they need to become dominant.
