Eaton pitches well but Phillies fall 4-3 to Astros
Eaton is still trying to get his first victory this season. He certainly pitched well enough to earn it, giving up 3 runs in 7 innings but the Phillies batters couldn’t back him up as the Phillies lost 4-3 to the Astros.Pat Burrell hit the first pitch he saw out to give the Phillies an early 1-0 lead. Unfortunately that was all the scoring until they tried to fight back in the ninth. They managed to get close 4-3 and had a chance to take the lead. Victorino was up with two outs and runners on second and third but flied out to center to end the game and the Phillies hopes for another come from behind late win.
