Philly bats explode for 15-6 win over Astros

Starting pitcher Cole Hamels had his worse start all season but the Phillies bats came alive as they defeated the Astros 15-6 to take the final game of their road trip. Geoff Jenkins, Pat Burrell and Chase Utley all homered as the Phillies had a season high in runs with 15. Burrell had his 15th homer, his third in as in many games and Utley also hit his 15th homer to lead the onslaught.

Phillies completed a 4-3 road trip and now head home to face Colorado today.
