Howard blasts Philly to 8-2 win over the Red Sox

Ryan Howard hit 2 homers, a triple and knocked in 4 runs to lead the Phillies to a 8-2 win over Boston.Rollins started out the game with a homer and Howard followed with a 2 run blast to give the Phillies an early 3-0 first inning lead.

Cole Hamels gave up just two runs over seven plus innings, only giving up back to back homers. He has been the Phil’s most consistent pitcher. It seems like he gives them 7 plus solid inning every time he hits the mound.
