Philly drops 6th straight to the Athletics 5-2
Jamie Moyer allowed just one hit in the first six innings but then let up a 3 run homer in the seventh and the Phillies dropped their 6th game in a row to the Athletics 5-2. Pat Burrell hit a solo homer in the fourth inning. During the losing streak th eteam is batting a miserable 170.
We keep waiting for the Phillies to start swinging the bats the way we know they can. It will happen, stay calm, it’s a long season.
