Interleague play finally ends with another loss 5-1 to the Rangers

The Philly boys are glad the interleague play is over after going a horrible 4-11. They ended it with a lack luster performance, losing 5-1 to the Rangers. Now they start a very important stretch playing teams in their own division for 19 of the next 25 games.

Rangers rookie pitcher Eric Hurley looked like an all star as the Phillies couldn’t do anything with him or anyone that came out of the pen. During this bad spell it has been a team afford. The bats were dead for most of the time and the starting pitching has been shaky at best. So now it’s time to start playing ball again. We will see if Charlie Manual can get the boys back up and playing the way we know they should be playing.
